Start with the airline and the terminal
Save the number of the flight that actually lands at Punta Cana International Airport, especially when your itinerary has a connection or shows a codeshare number. Ask the driver which public exit or meeting point to use for your terminal. Save the instructions as a screenshot. On travel day, check the airline’s arrival information again. If your flight changes, send the updated number and arrival time to the provider so they can confirm the pickup. When your party arrives on different flights, tell the driver which arrival should trigger the pickup and agree where everyone will meet.
ArrivalsGive the driver a destination they can find
Send the full resort or villa name, the neighborhood, the street address and the entrance you are expected to use. A resort brand may have several properties in the area, and a booking confirmation may list the resort complex rather than the lobby for your reservation. Ask the hotel to identify the correct lobby if the confirmation is unclear. Share the number of passengers, suitcases and any oversized items. If you need a child seat or an accessible vehicle, describe the requirement before booking so the provider can confirm a suitable vehicle in writing.
TransportationAgree on what happens after a delay
A scheduled landing time is only the start of the arrival process. Allow for passport control, baggage collection and customs when arranging a pickup. Before paying, ask when the provider starts counting waiting time, what happens if bags are delayed and how to contact dispatch if you cannot find the driver. Keep a copy of the terms with the contact details and pickup instructions. Compare what is included in the quoted price, and confirm whether the return ride is part of the same booking. For the return trip, give the provider the departure terminal and your airline’s check-in deadline so you can agree on a hotel pickup time.
